Audience Awareness

The first video is aimed for adults. It is advertising beer which is something only adults can have and the actors in the commercial are mainly adults or teens (of age I assume) consuming the beer and having a good time, therefore making it seem appealing to adults, as well as young teens who are almost of age, that beer=good times so when they are able to drink or if they are already able to, they choose their beer over others.

The second video is aimed towards kids. The actors are kids, and showing that the kid who "hates everything" is eating it, making it seem as if the cereal is so good even the kid who hates everything is eating it.

The third video is aimed for anyone really, but mostly teens, teen actors are mostly used in this commercial. The commercial is trying to get across that nothing can stop you and you can reach your dreams. Nike uses a famous figure a lot of teens know and look up to. Nike is a brand that almost any age uses but is most popular in the teens due to fashion, sports etc. Nike wants to  inspire us to reach our goals, and that wearing their brand essentially, would help us reach our goals.

We need to be critical about intended audience so that we don't target the wrong age group of people and give the wrong age group a bad idea, like aiming drinking towards teens rather than when it is meant for adults who are of age to drink.
